My backwards Life

Well you would NOT even believe how hectic and busy and crazy my life has been these past 2 weeks. WHAT a whirlwind. My goodness. I am overwhelmed, stressed, and livin it up all at the same time. AND to make matters even more bothersome, I am SO BUSY tonight that I have no time at all to post...but I so badly wanted to get these random photos up of Tara's wedding....Tara's beautiful wedding, I should say. AH, such a gorgeous bride...SO NICE to see my long lost Capernwray friends. SO NICE! And I added random pics from my walk with Danielle one day too. I don't have time to really write. But here are some photos just so you all know I haven't forgotten about you. We are so busy packing to move and travel, saying goodbyes and leaving for BC tomorrow!! So here is just a little visual random-ness of things that have occured in my life over the last weeks. I have WAAAAAAAAAAY more to post in the near future. BAAAAH! Hope you are all well!

Life is Art

So last weekend it was our very last 98A. :( For those of you who don't know, that is what Friday Night Youth is called at our church. Beulah just finished their big building project a couple months ago and the youth group now has its very own youth centre, complete with tv's, nintendo wii, dance dance revolution, 2 pool tables, 2 foose ball tables, and a concession. It's pretty sweet. God has truly blessed this youth ministry. It will be hard to leave it all... This week we decided to do something different. Our friend Robbie has an old beater of a car that is white. So we took a bunch of tempura paints and painted the thing for nearly an hour. Pretty fun painting a car. Everybody was painting so random is was awesome. But get this, after about an hour had passed we all had to rush inside because it was about to rain. Eventually the heavens opened (I swear) and it poured out of control. To the point that nearly EVERYTHING had been washed off!!!! It was crazy.

Mambo Number 5

Mambo Number 5 has nothing really to do with this blog. I just have the song in my head. And don't bother asking me why because I can't even remember the last time I've heard it!!!

So I have been in a blogging rut. Not going to get into why I have been, but I now have to catch up on the last 2 weeks! So annoying I know! I will catch you up somewhat. Well on the 29th of July it was our ONE YEAR anniversary! Yep, you heard right, we've made it through the first year. HUZZAH! And so we celebrated with some friends in Banff. Danny and Danielle and I drove down the first night. We dropped Danny off at at stag (bachelor party)in Canmore for the night, and Danielle and I continued into Banff to set up our tent in the pitch black...scary stuff in my books. Especially since their had just been a bear and cougar citing. Not exactly my cup of tea. I made sure to do cougar scans with my flashlight every 5 minutes. Only once I came across creepy animal eyes, and it turns out it was just some creep and his dog watching us set up our tent at an abandoned campsite. Who does that?!!!!! We were impressed with our abilities to set up a tent in the dark with little previous experience. It was only the rain fly that gave us troubles. And the fear of cougars. I told Danielle I would kill her if she pretended to make a cougar noise!!! So freaky! Eventually we fell asleep and woke up the next morning for cinnaom buns and Starbucks in downtown Banff for Breakfast! Once lunch time hit Krissy, Danae, and Danny met up with us and we went to the gorgeous Johnston Lake to tan and float about in the water. It is a non-glacier lake in Banff and seriously a greeny blue, so gorgeous, and so clean! The only annoying part was the huge dogs that think its cool to come out of the water soaking wet and shake their stink and water all over you and your magazine. BOO! Anyways, by the end of the day Danny and Erin and Robbie had eventually met up with us. A few of us girls went into town to play around at the little boutique shops, and we had a fire, and chilled out together. It was nice. The next morning we all woke up and went into town for a nice lunch and then half of us went to the lake for the rest of the day. Danny and Robbie both attempted (and succeeded) the rope swing. Danielle and I just floated on the mattress and watched. This one chick completely bailed, and we so knew she was going to do something stupid because she wasn't listening to anybody's advice on how to jump. Danny jumped like a monkey, head first. Crazy kids. Anyways, it was such a fun weekend and a blessing to hang out with people that we care about!! Here are a few pics from the weekend for your enjoyment.
